Santana Ranch's balanced approach to land use accommodates future growth, protects community assets, meets economic objectives and protects the environment. As the population of San Benito County increases, the adjacent Fairview Road will become a four-way arterial. The Santana Ranch project team is extremely conscious of the need for traffic control inside the community. Designing convenient routes for automobiles, foot traffic and bicyclists to and from school, parks and neighborhood commercial centers will be a top priority as the community develops. The plans for Santana Ranch will respect important resources and are dedicated to minimizing and mitigating any environmental impacts. Throughout the project application and approval processes, Santana Ranch is committed to providing public participation and accessibility of information. An outreach effort and continuing dialogue will occur with neighbors, civic and community leaders and relevant agencies.
